Ratner Parent Company Will Continue Funding Nets' Losses

Although Atlantic Yards, Bruce Ratner's mega project, will be delayed, officers of his parent company, Forest City Enterprises, said Wednesday they'll continue to fund the team's operating losses, now around $40 million a year ... and rising. FCE, which is run by Ratner's Cleveland cousins, also expressed optimism the project will be completed and noted the team's $1 billion arena is still top priority. And Ratner's architect took critics to task for claiming the project's signature building won't be built.
