Lawrence Frank and his players closed the season out by meeting with the media one more time on Friday. Always willing to admit to his mistakes, Frank said that he failed as a coach in not getting the players to buy "into the collective vision of what's best for the team" this season. Still, the Nets' key free agents again said they want to return, and everyone says they'd like a fresh start with the same group. Meanwhile, Vince Carter's MRI revealed loose bodies in his right ankle, so he'll meet with a specialist about possible surgery.
