In reporting on the Nets' off-season, Al Iannazzone appears to have found a hidden asset buried in detritus of the Nets' roster: the expiring contract of one Keith Van Horn. Iannazzone writes that Van Horn's contract--which could be as big as $4.7 million next season--can be used in trades until late October when he must be waived or bought out for a yet unknown amount. So KVH may not retire as a Net after all.
