Nets End Season With a Loss in Boston

Let the offseason begin. The Nets 2007-08 campaign came to a close with 105-94 defeat at the hands of the best team in the league Wednesday night. After trailing by double-digits in each of the first two quarters, the Nets fought back and took the lead midway through the third. But Boston ended the quarter on an 11-0 run to take back control. The Nets got the lead back early in the fourth, but another Celtics run finished them off. Richard Jefferson led the Nets with 24 points on 10-of-15 from the floor and Nenad Krstic recorded his third double-double of the season, but Vince Carter and Devin Harris, like Boston's starters, played limited minutes. Sean Williams got in the game, but was 0-for-3 from the field in 17 minutes of action.
