Nets Beat Bobcats in OT

The Nets finished their home schedule with a winning record at the IZOD Center after coming back to defeat the Bobcats in overtime Tuesday night. After an 11-4 start by the Nets, the Bobcats caught fire and led by 15 after one. They led by as many as 20 in the second quarter, but the Nets climbed back slowly and took the lead with just over three minutes to go in the game. They led by as many as five, but the Bobcats came back to tie it and Richard Jefferson missed a jumper as time expired in regulation. The Nets then shot 6-for-7 (including 3-for-4 from downtown) in the extra period, with all five players getting in on the action, to get the win. Jefferson led the team with 28 points on 11-of-21 shooting, with five other players scoring in double figures, including Darrell Armstrong, who got the start at the point.
