Lebron to New York? Isn't Brooklyn Part of New York?

Jay-Z had floor seats at the Garden last night for Lebron James' 50-point blowout of the Knicks, jawing with his favorite NBA player about his inability to get a triple double (he finished two rebounds short). Meanwhile, New York reporters kept asking about whether he would want to play in New York, as in the Knicks. Lebron says he loves playing in the Garden, but didn't express love for the Knicks. Others are speculating about the Nets' minority owner and the 6'-8" wunderkind uniting in Brooklyn.
