You couldn't ask for a better start to the Devin Harris era in New Jersey. The Nets' new point guard checked in with 2:30 to go in the first quarter of Thursday's game at IZOD Center and the score tied at 22. He then led the Nets on a 28-11 run, scoring 16 points on 6-of-6 from the field, and dishing out a pair of assists. The Nets went on to shoot 63 percent in the first half for a season-high 68 points, and their lead was 13 at the break. It was a six-point game after three, but the Nets pulled away with a Boki-Nachbar-led run in the fourth. The Nets shot 51 percent for the game and had six players in double-figures, led by Harris' 21. Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson each had 19, Marcus Williams dished out eight assists and Stromile Swift even got in on the action, grabbing seven boards in 19 minutes of action.
