The Nets announced Friday evening that they have waived Jamaal Magloire. Magloire had played in just 24 of the Nets' first 54 games after signing a one-year, $4 million deal this summer. The move leaves 14 players (including the never-to-be-heard-from Keith Van Horn) on the roster. "If down the road we want to bring in a perimeter player, we have a roster spot," Lawrence Frank said. Curiously, he might wind up in Dallas. Boston and Detroit may be interested as well.
