The trade of Jason Kidd to the Dallas Mavericks appears to be "going away" reports ESPN. The Mavs have taken Devean George and Jerry Stackhouse out of the trade and the Nets aren't interested in their substitutions. Rod Thorn said at the end of a frustrating day, "it doesn't look that good for the deal." Kidd says if things don't work out, he can live with it. And, oh by the way, there's an All-Star game Sunday.
