The Nets meet the new-look Knicks for the first time this season Wednesday. The Knicks are improved under Mike D'Antoni, but don't have many quality wins so far. They lost to the Bulls Tuesday. New York does shoot a lot of threes, so they'll be a better test of the Nets' perimeter defense than the Sixers. Bobby Simmons has returned from Chicago, where he'd been dealing with a personal matter, in time for the game. It's still unknown what Josh Boone's role will be.
