Nets Fall Apart Late, Fall to 5-12 at Home

The saga continues. The Nets dropped another home game Monday night, this one to a Bulls team that had lost seven straight on the road and 13 straight at the IZOD Center. Thanks to some hot shooting, the Bulls led by as many as 14 points early in the second quarter, but Vince Carter led the Nets back though and they trailed by just five at halftime. Devin Harris then led them on an 11-0 run to start the third quarter to grab the lead. The game was tight until the Nets went cold late in the fourth quarter and the Bulls put them away with a 14-0 run. Carter and Harris combined for 57 points, but didn't get much help and Chicago outscored the Nets 33-9 from three point range. Keyon Dooling was a late scratch because of a hip injury.
