Officials of Forest City Enterprises, Bruce Ratner's parent company and largest stockholder in the Nets, met with city officials Tuesday to explain where the project stands and announce a change in the Atlantic Yards housing mix. Instead of focusing on condo's, the builder will push rental apartments. Apartments are more likely to get the project federal subsidies and thus help get financing, officials said.
