When word broke that Oklahoma City had made an offer to Nenad Krstic, it seemed like only a matter of time--a week to be precise--before the Nets relented and let the Serbian center go. The $15.6 million offer sheet seemed too big for the Nets to match. Not to mention Brook Lopez's rise would seem to make Krstic a luxury. But the Nets retained Krstic's rights for a reason, and they have options.
