Officially, the Nets are among the leaders in bringing new fans to the arena this season. The team claims attendance is up 7%, one of the top numbers in an NBA where declining numbers are the rule. But anyone who's been to the IZOD this season has to question the stated average of 15,901. Players are having a hard time dealing with crowds that are cheering for the visitors, like the Knicks, or not cheering at all.
