The Nets will be battling the Peoples' Republic of China this summer for the body, if not the soul, of Yi Jianlian. China would like Yi to spend much of his summer back home, preparing for the FIBA Asia Games while the Nets want to keep him in New Jersey. Negotiations are ongoing with Yi's agent, Dan Fegan, helping the Nets. "Our goal is to try to spend as much time as he can with the Nets", says Fegan.
