Brook Lopez was surprised he lasted til #10 in the Draft. So were the Nets. ESPN's Chad Ford reported Nets' brass were "doing back flips" when Lopez was available. Now we know why. As a starter, the 7-footer is putting up numbers (15.7 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 2 ppg) that many veterans would envy. He is still a work in progress on defense, but as his coach says, "he's been pretty dog-gone good."
