No Letdown: Nets Handle Clippers

The Nets returned home and took care of business Saturday night, getting a comfortable win over the Clippers to get back to .500 before heading west. The Nets shot 11-for-19 from downtown and all five starters finished in double-figures. Yi Jianlian led the way with 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including 3-of-5 from deep. He also collected six boards and blocked two shots. It was his Nets' high and his highest scoring game since last December when he hit for 29 while with the Bucks. Vince Carter added 26, while Devin Harris finished with 18 points and 10 assists. Brook Lopez recorded his second career double-double with 14 points and 10 boards. The Nets started slowly, falling behind 13-5, but outscored the Clippers every quarter. The 17-point margin at game's end was also the largest margin of the game. The Nets have now won four of their last five.
