Brook Lopez arrived early. Since Josh Boone went down with a bad bruise, Lopez has started three games and averaged 15.0 points (on 19-for-33 shooting), 9.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks. He can still be inconsistent. He scored 25, 5 and 15 those three games and after a 10-and-10 first half Tuesday, he put up 5-and-3 in the second. His rise means Lawrence Frank may have a tough decision when Boone returns.
