Peter Vecsey reports Charlotte is willing to trade Matt Carroll for Sean Williams and Trenton Hassell. Carroll, a 6'-6" swingman, has five-years and $21.5 million left on a contract that pays him $5.05 million now but drops to $3.5 million in its last year. Williams and Hassell have two-year deals totalling $11.9 million. Carroll makes $4.3 million in 2010. Vecsey calls it a "back-up" plan if Charlotte can't get Chris Kamen.
