Nets Blow Late Lead to Heat

The Nets played well and led most of the game, but could not finish off the Heat in Miami Monday night. With Yi Jianlian hitting 5-of-6 from downtown and recording the second double-double of his career, the Nets were up 10 with less than six minutes to go. But Dwyane Wade led the Heat on a 13-3 run to tie it at 86 with two minutes left. Wade then gave the Heat the lead with two free throws a minute later and Vince Carter turned the ball over twice on key possessions down the stretch when the Nets were looking to tie. They never got the chance and Chris Quinn sealed the game at the line. Wade led all scorers with 33 points, including 19 of Miami's 38 in the fourth quarter. Yi led the Nets with 24 points and 10 boards, while Carter and Keyon Dooling added 22 and 18 points respectively. The Nets shot 13-25 from downtown, but turned the ball over 19 times, including 11 times in the first half.
