The Nets, faced with struggling season ticket sales in a depressed economy, have signed up with Play-by-Play, whose business is to fill arenas, theatres and other public venues while offering patrons a chance to sample the product. For an annual $99 membership fee, patrons receive almost complimentary tickets to events that look better to TV and live audiences with a full house.
