Nets Finally Get a Comfortable Win

The Nets got their second double-digit win of the season Wednesday night at the IZOD Center. They came out strong, built on their lead in each quarter, and allowed Jason Kidd to rest the entire fourth period with a 99-88 victory over the Sonics. Richard Jefferson got out on the break and led the way with 28 points on 11-of-17 from the field, adding five boards, six assists and three steals. Jason Kidd's triple-double streak came to an end, but he did hit 4-of-8 from downtown on his way to 16 points and 11 assists, while Vince Carter added 18 points, eight boards and six dimes. As a team, the Nets recorded 27 assists on 38 field goals and held the Sonics to just 41 percent shooting.
