Bobcats Catch Fire and End Nets Streak

Jason Kidd recorded his third straight triple-double Tuesday night in Charlotte, but that couldn't stop the Bobcats from shooting 59 percent from the field on their way to a season-high 115 points and a 16-point victory. Led by Jason Richardson, the Bobcats caught fire late in the first quarter and they never cooled off, scoring at least 27 points in each period and leading by as many as 21. Kidd finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists, but he made just one of his seven attempts from downtown. As a team, the Nets were just 5-for-21 from beyond the arc and shot just 63 percent from the free throw line. Richard Jefferson led the Nets with 25 points.
