Jason Kidd says it's over. In an interview with Ric Bucher of ESPN, the Nets' captain said, "Sometimes, when you ride a wave, you get to the end and that's all there is. That's where we are." Kidd said his agent has been talking to the Nets about a trade for a year. "We tried to make this work. We've found out it doesn't. It's time for us all to move on." Rod Thorn responded by saying he won't make a deal unless it works for the team and Kidd "is under contract".
