Vince Carter wasn't responding to Thursday's comments made by Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley, but Lawrence Frank was willing to defend his star. Frank said that Carter has been "bogged down with an ankle injury that has affected him," adding that Carter is still an All-Star caliber player. Carter first injured his ankle Nov. 11 against Boston. "I don't think there's anything wrong with his knees," said Rod Thorn.
