The Nets' year-to-year attendance has taken a hit--down 7% over the first 23 home dates, but the NBA recognized the franchise this month for improving its season ticket sales. The Nets were one of eight franchises cited for selling more than 2,000 new full-season tickets. Season sales represent about 70% of an NBA team's ticket sales. The Nets are not the only team with a drop-off. League wide attendance is down 4%.
