Things were looking pretty good 10 days ago, with the Nets having won seven of their last eight games. But now, they've returned to their ways and malaise of November and December. The six-game road trip that begins Saturday in Los Angeles could be just what they need to get back on track, or it could be the deathblow. The question is, simply, are they just a .500 team? If so, Jason Kidd seems to be OK with it.
