Quietly...at least for those not nearby, Bruce Ratner has been tearing down buildings in the footprint of the Nets new arena in Brooklyn, building infrastructure like a new water main, and erecting a platform over the Vanderbilt rail yards. It's all prep work for the arena which took another step forward Wednesday when a state appeals court dismissed another of the critics' lawsuits. They're down to one.
