USA Basketball named Jason Kidd its 2007 Male Athlete of the Year on Wednesday. Kidd averaged just 1.8 points and 4.6 assists per game, but he was credited for his leadership as Team USA went 10-0 to win gold at the FIBA Americas Championship in August. He has a 44-0 record as a member of Senior Men's National Team and should be going to Beijing this summer for the Olympics.
