In an interview with the Nets' own website, GM Ed Stefanski repeatedly called Jamaal Magloire's addition and the return of Nenad Krstic critical to the team's success. Of Magloire, Stefanski said, "he is a piece that is really going to help us from a physical standpoint that we haven’t had here in years". Krstic is "progressing nicely", he added. Most of the questions Stefanski raised dealt with bench issues, noting "there’s a chance for (Bernard) Robinson to step up also."
