With training camp now less than 10 days away, Sean Deveney of Sporting News and Marc Stein of ESPN take a shot at ranking the Eastern Conference's off-season. No surprise: both say Boston wins hands down. The Nets, without a major deal or a sure-fire addition, rank ninth on Deveney's list, fifth on Stein's. Both think the Vince Carter extension and Mikki Moore/Jamaal Magloire switchout were pluses. Meanwhile, SLAM gives us their first Power Rankings Dirty 30.
