The critics are still rallying against the Nets' new Brooklyn arena, the Barclays' Center and two law suits continue to weave their way through federal courts, but the Nets are about to market some of the most expensive luxury suites in the New York market. The team is expected to open a suite showroom soon in hopes of getting corporate clients to fork over nearly $300,000 a year for the privilege of watching the Brooklyn Nets, starting in 2009 or thereabouts. The team will have a lot of competition. Most of their competitors are doing the same thing.
