As the season approaches, Charley Rosen of Fox Sports lays out his list of players who need to understand that they have to step up if their teams are going to succeed. And no one will be surprised that Vince Carter is on his list. Carter, a frequent target of Rosen's barbs, is called a "hugely talented baller who routinely comes up empty whenever an important game is up for grabs". He ranks just behind two other NBA superstars on Rosen's list: Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki. Also on the list: Kenyon Martin, who Rosen calls a "loud-mouth bully".
