Those magazine-like NBA season previews are starting to hit the newsstands and an Orlando writer has two of them. The two take very divergent views of the Nets' chances. Athlon and Lindy's, among the more respected previews, have the Nets either in the conference finals or barely making the playoffs. Athlon has the Nets winning the Atlantic over the Celtics and Raptors, then losing to the Bulls in the East finals. Lindy's has New Jersey finishing eighth in the East.
