Allan Houston has an open invitation to join the Nets, at least in training camp. The team has invited the 6'-6" shooting guard to camp on a "make good" basis, a non-guaranteed deal that would get him $1.2 million if he is still on the roster October 29. Although Houston would have friends on the Nets--Olympic teammates Jason Kidd and Vince Carter--and a short commute, he reportedly has offers from two other teams.
