...and here is Indiana. Jermaine O'Neal sounded Wednesday like someone who didn't want to be dealt anywhere, not Los Angeles, not New Jersey. In an interview with the Pacers' own website, O'Neal professed his loyalty to Indiana, sounding like Larry Bird's prodigal son. It was all a misunderstanding, he claimed. His comments were taken out of context. He hopes to retire a Pacer, adding that if he isn't in Indianapolis on opening night, it will only be because Larry Bird made the team better.
