The NBA released the league schedule Thursday afternoon and the Nets will open their 2007-08 season at home vs. Chicago on October 31. The Nets will play the Kevin Garnett-led Celtics twice in their first eight games, and make their first west coast road trip three weeks into the season. Unlike last year, the Nets will not be seen much nationally. There's only one TNT game, January 24 at Golden State, on the schedule and four ESPN games. The Nets play eight games on NBA TV.
