For the second night in a row, Team USA barely worked up a sweat as it defeated a smaller opponent, this time the Virgin Islands, 123-59. Jason Kidd took one shot, a three pointer, and made it. He also racked up five assists in 17 minutes of play. Michael Redd and Carmelo Anthony led Team USA with 22 each, followed by Amare Stoudemire and Mike Miller with 13 each. The Americans don't play again til Saturday afternoon when they go up against Team Canada at 3 p.m. on ESPN2.
