In an interview with the Boston Herald, Rod Thorn was asked how much time he sees Sean Williams getting this year. Thorn responded as he has before, that Williams needs more experience. But Thorn added that the Nets have been pleasantly surprised with Williams' offense and suggested the 6'-10" Williams could defend any of the three frontcourt positions. Thorn raved about the Celtics' Big Three in an interview with the Boston Globe, but added how Danny Ainge fills out the rest of the roster is critical.
