In four days, America's latest hope for the gold in basketball takes the court against Venezuela in Las Vegas. Team USA hopes to erase the disappointment of finishing sixth in the 2002 Worlds and third in both the 2004 Olympics and 2006 Worlds. The team, anchored by Jason Kidd and Kobe Bryant, is older than it has been in a while and more experienced in international play...and Kidd has let it be known he doesn't want his 28-0 record tarnished.
