In what is being called the largest gift ever by a pro athlete to his alma mater, Richard Jefferson has pledged $3.5 million to the University of Arizona. The gift will permit the school to complete a new basketball practice facility, which will be named for the Net forward. Jefferson added he is excited about another season in New Jersey now that trade talk is moot. Also moot is Gilbert Arenas' promise to out-brag RJ at this weekend's Lute Olson Classic in Tucson.
