Running basketball camps is that not uncommon for the league's players--five Nets are conducting them this summer. But one with a perennial All-Star as camp counsellor is. For years, Vince Carter has run a basketball academy in Daytona Beach, hosting a few hundred kids at his old high school. For the past two years, the All-Star guard has also set up camp at the Nets' practice facility. Fulfilling kids' dreams of meeting their hero is a big reason why. Marcus Williams, meanwhile, opens his camp Monday in Bridgewater.
