Earlier this week, amidst the Jermaine O'Neal frenzy, the Post reported: "The Nets anticipate 'one or two signings' of minimum deal guys", quoting Rod Thorn. Earlier, the Star-Ledger reported Thorn "remains interested in guys like Keith McLeod, Roger Mason, Robert Hite, and Anthony Roberson". If Darrell Armstrong can't reach a deal with Indiana, he could be a candidate too. An earlier report that Hite was going to sign now appears premature. Each would bring something different to the table.
