The Nets announced Tuesday evening that they have signed Jamaal Magloire. The contract is reportedly for one year and $4 million. Rod Thorn called Magloire "an experienced low-post player who will add depth to our frontcourt rotation." Magloire said he will bring one more thing: "toughness". Meanwhile, John Hollinger writes the signing hurts the Nets because they had to cut Hassan Adams to accomodate him and another team denied they offered the 6'-11" Canadian a contract.
