The Nets offered Richard Jefferson, Nenad Krstic and Jason Collins for Jermaine O'Neal Thursday, but RJ's agent says the Net swingman believes the team has made a commitment to keep the Big Three intact. The deal never reached fruition in part because Jim O'Brien, Indiana's new coach, thinks he can get O'Neal back to all-NBA form. But Fred Kerber writes it could still get done next month.
