Bill Cartwright was one of eight people interviewed for the vacant Sacramento Kings' coaching job, but apparently didn't make the final cut. According to Sacramento media, the two finalists are Kurt Rambis, the Laker assistant, and Stan Van Gundy, late of the Miami Heat. Cartwright was believed to have a shot based on his northern California ties and his ability to coach big men.
