In an interview with the Arizona Daily Star, Ed Stefanski said "there's not many harder-nosed players than Hassan Adams" in the NBA and predicted that if he continues to develop his skills, "I think he'll have a nice career." The Nets, he said, were happy with Adams' progress and that his lack of a true NBA position--he played power forward at Arizona after being an all-American shooting guard in high school--shouldn't hurt him because "he's just a basketball player".
