But the Nets backcourt is among Sports Illustrated's "Fortunate 50", the magazine's list of the highest paid American athletes. Carter ranks #23 with estimated earnings of $20.1 million in 2008 while Kidd is two positions lower, with $19.6 million. The totals include salary and estimated value of endorsements. Tiger Woods tops the list at $111.9 million
