Dave D'Alessandro says that with the exception of two quarters, the Nets have played solid defense and if they are to win Game 6 and the series, that exception cannot become the rule: "the Raptors are averaging 19.2 points in the other 18. And in those 18 quarters, the Nets have held them to less than 20 points in seven of them." As for the Raptor point guard situation, D'Alessandro says playing T.J. Ford in Game 6 would be "criminal" considering his history of spinal problems.
