Vince Carter had one of his better games in his former hometown Tuesday, hitting for 30 points, among them clutch three's that brought the Nets back from a 21-point deficit. But he passed off the final shot to an open Boki Nachbar rather than going for it himself. Chris Bosh, on the other hand, has had a terrible series, hitting a new low Tuesday with a flubbed dunk, goal tending charge and a missed foul shot with seconds remaining. Both have come in for criticism on the morning after, but Lawrence Frank defended Carter on Wednesday, saying "Vince made the exact right play."
